Surface finishing applications provider ActOn Finishing is expanding its range of products and services with a series of product launches in 2020, to support the UK’s manufacturing sector.

As the UK’s leading expert in the design and development of machinery, consumables & subcontract surface finishing solutions, ActOn remains the only manufacturer of such equipment in the UK. This includes solutions for vibratory finishing, high energy finishing, shot blasting & waste water treatment. All the equipment is suitable for a range of applications such as deburring, descaling, polishing, cleaning, mirror finishing, radiusing, smoothing and drying.

“We are the only manufacturers in the UK of this type of equipment and we very much focus on process development, which is tailored to our customer needs. Moreover, all materials and machinery are subjected to extensive testing at our laboratory, ensuring the efficiency of our process is continually improving.”, says Sid Gulati, Operations Director at ActOn.

ActOn’s first product launch of the year came in March, when we announced that ActOn is launching a new partnership with a high-profile Spanish industrial company, GPAINNOVA. The partnership has enabled ActOn to supply the DLyte surface finishing technology to the manufacturing sector, including the healthcare, aerospace, automotive, 3D printing and motorsport industries.

The DLyte machine combines grinding and polishing in a one-step process to produce a smooth, shiny and superior surface finish on metal parts. You can find out more about the DLyte technology here: https://bit.ly/2XnrQve

A new automated vibratory finishing system is set to be launched in June. The SPU-1 technology is an economical finishing option ideally suited for small batch works and delicate components and it is perfect for deburring, descaling, cleaning, smoothing, radiusing, polishing and drying.

In addition, we will showcase at the Back in Britain expo our CHE finishing range a technology which can be 15-20 times faster and produces superior finishes.
